Black Weedow are kicking off the new year in a big way! On January 14, their third single, Eyes Wide Shut (Part 2), was released on streaming platforms. Just like their previous releases, it features uncompromising guitar sound, articulated through slow, heavy riffs, complemented by melodies sung by the winner of the fourth edition of The Voice of Poland, Juan Carlos Cano.
Black Weedow consists of lifelong friends: Maciej Mika, Kamil Wróblewski, and Maciej Chamera, brought together by their shared passion for heavy music at an early age. Over the years, they performed at many local metal events before eventually going their separate ways. Although each of them has been involved in various musical projects (including Neoklez, Fanthrash, and Archangelica), their desire to play stoner rock together remained alive. The band’s sound was finalized with the addition of vocalist Juan Carlos Cano, whose haunting delivery pulls the listener from numbness and into the depths of a metaphysical journey.
